Short Biography

I am an Associate Professor at the department of Information Engineering, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) since 2018. I joined CUHK as tenure-track Assistant Professor in 2012, right after receiving my PhD degree from Indiana University at Bloomington.

Previously, I have received my B.S. and M.E. degree in 2001 and 2004 on computer science and computer engineering respectively. From 2004 to 2006, I was working as an FPGA (Field Programmable Gated Array) logic design engineer at Harbour Networks (now acquired by Huawei) at Beijing.

Research Interests

Current Focus

My current research interest is focused on binary code analysis. If you have some background on binary code analysis, and are interested to pursue a PhD degree in this direction, please drop me an email for an interview.

General interests

I have a very broad of research interests and have worked on many diversified topics, including but not limited to: side-channel attacks and defenses, mobile security, Web, software, IoT, etc.
